Mark A. Freeborn, MD

Dr. Freeborn received his medical degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, graduating with academic honors while earning membership in Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Washington / Harborview Medical Center. He then accepted a faculty appointment as an Acting Instructor at the University of Washington / Harborview Medical Center while pursuing a combined orthopedic and neurosurgical fellowship in complex spinal surgery. He is a member of AO Spine North America and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Freeborn focuses his elective practice on spinal surgery and uses minimally invasive techniques when possible. He also takes trauma calls and performs all variations of orthopedic trauma surgery. He enjoys cycling, golfing, skiing and spending time with his wife Jayme and their children.
