When calling to schedule your first appointment, it is helpful if you have the following information available:
If you require specific days or times, or would like to request a specific therapist, please notify our front desk staff at this time.
Scheduling
We understand that you lead a busy life; therefore, we will do our best when scheduling appointments to accommodate you. We recommend that you schedule additional follow up visits in advance in order to guarantee that you can get the appointment times that fit your schedule.
Cancellation & Reschedule Policy
We ask that you notify us with at least 24 hours notice if you are unable to keep your appointment. Please note that your initial visit will be for an evaluation, which is more time-intensive than the treatment sessions that follow it. While we will do our best to work with you, should you need to reschedule your first visit, it is likely that your subsequent visits will need to be rearranged as well.
Referrals
While therapists enjoy direct access in the state of Washington, meaning you can see a therapist without a referral from your physician, most insurance companies require that you have a referral in order for us to bill them for our services. Some insurance companies also require pre-authorization that may take up to 48 hours to complete.
Insurance
Please provide us with your current insurance information when you call to schedule your first appointment. Benefit information is specific to each provider, plan, and member. We will call to verify your coverage and benefits before you are seen. This information is provided as a courtesy and does not guarantee payment. We strongly recommend that you contact your insurance company to verify your outpatient therapy benefits.
If your insurance should change during the course of your treatment, please inform us as soon as you know. This will enable us to help you to determine if it changes your therapy coverage.
Please note that we are unable to bill a third party for your therapy expenses.
Children
Your time in therapy is important to your recovery. Therefore, we ask that you do not bring your children with you to your appointments as this distracts from the quality of care that you and our other patients receive.
